The Dutchman Vineyard Wine Story

Both of us have lived in Ripon all our lives. We grew up on the same road, crossed paths at school, in 4-H and at church. We have a long family history in the area with Sam's family farming almonds and originally grapes just down the road since 1933. And speaking of family, when Carla's cousins, Dirk & Tanya Heuvel's property came up for sale on that very road in 2015, we made the move from town to country and haven't looked back since. It is so rewarding to enjoy a glass of wine with the land and vines we cultivate, right out our back door.

After much success with other wineries buying our fruit and producing great wines, we couldn't resist putting our own spin on our grapes. With encouragement and help from family, and friends in the industry, DutchmanVineyard Wine was born. Our focus will always be on farming and caring for the land that we call home. Our wine is grown out of the love we have for producing something that not only fills our bellies but feeds our souls. Farming does that for us and we are humbled by the opportunity to share the fruits of that with you.
