Alicante Bouschet
pronounced "ally-can-tay, boo-shay"
Grown on Our Vineyard
A rare type of grape called a teinturier with red skins and red flesh. It was created as a cross between Garnacha and Petit Bouschet in Southern France.
Petite Sirah
The grape is related to Syrah and the rare French-Alps grape, Peloursin. We sourced these from neighboring vines.
Primitivo
Is a red wine grape variety also known as Zinfandel planted widely in Italy. Our Primitivo was sourced from our cousins which is appropriate given that Primo means cousin in Spanish.
