Our Story

Lifelong Ripon locals, we grew up on the same road, crossing paths at school, 4-H, and church.  Sam's family has farmed almonds-and grapes-nearby since 1933.  

In  2015, we bought our dream property on that road: the 5 acre Dutchman Vineyard, right in the heart of where we grew up.  We farm the Alicante Bouschet grapes that came with it-selling most to other winemakers, while crafting small lots ourselves.  Encouraged by family and industry friends, we started making our own wines after seeing others succeed with our fruit. Our focus stays on nurturing this land we call home.  We're humbled to share them with you.  Hope you love them as much as we do!
